Cette représentation est peu courante , assis mais avec une posture dominante,  le regard baissé vers le monde depuis les cieux, serrant l’orbe contre sa hanche.   

Manque le petit doigt du pied gauche . 

L’orbe est une sphère surmontée d’une croix , ici disparue . 
Comme symbole chrétien, sa forme sphérique symbolise la domination temporelle — et non seulement spirituelle du Christ sur le monde. Dans l'iconographie occidentale, à partir du XVe siècle, l'image du Christ portant l'orbe dans sa main reçoit le nom de Salvator Mundi (sauveur du monde).

This representation is uncommon, seated but with a dominant posture, looking down at the world from the heavens, clutching the orb against his hip. Missing the little finger of the left foot. The orb is a sphere topped with a cross, which has disappeared here. As a Christian symbol, its spherical shape symbolizes the temporal - and not only spiritual - domination of Christ over the world.

In Western iconography, from the 15th century, the image of Christ carrying the orb in his hand receives the name Salvator Mundi (savior of the world).
