Sculptures d'atelier, travail d'école d'après des modèles de Michel Ange. Elle représentent deux jeunes femmes drapées portant l'une une brassée de fleurs, l'autre une pomme.
L'attitude est gracieuse et vivante. C'est un beau travail de sculpture souligné par un très jolie patine.
En noyer sculpté dans la masse, époque fin XIX ème , travail italien .
Elles sont en bon état général et n'ont eu l'une et l'autre que de très légères restaurations invisibles ( pointe d'un doigt , queue de la pomme )
Montées sur des socles en bois noirci rapportés .

They represent two draped young women, one carrying an armful of flowers, the other an apple.
The attitude is graceful and lively. It is a beautiful work of sculpture underlined by a very pretty patina. In walnut carved in the mass, late 19th century, Italian work.
They are in good general condition and both have only had very slight invisible restorations (tip of a finger, tail of the apple) Mounted on blackened wooden bases.
