Exceptionnel pique-cierge, tout début du XVIII ème . En bois sculpté avec sa polychromie originale . 
Richement décoré d’anges cariatides sur le piètement, de rinceaux, guirlandes fleuries, volutes, cartouches et têtes d’anges 
La polychromie bien qu’usée reste en bon état de conservation avec une belle patine .

A noter quelques manques et usures du temps sur le bois et la polychromie, ( manques sur les trois pieds dus aux insectes xylophages, depuis longtemps disparus et ne présentant plus aucun danger)
Fente ( ne travaillant plus)  sur une face du piètement.

In carved wood with its original polychromy. Richly decorated with caryatid angels on the base, foliage, floral garlands, volutes, cartouches and angel heads. 
The polychromy, although worn, remains in good condition with a beautiful patina.

In good general condition. Note some gaps and wear over time on the wood and the polychromy, (missing on the three legs due to wood-eating insects, long gone and no longer presenting any danger) Slot (no longer working) on one side of the base.
